  20. These tips can help you optimize the performance of Mosaic for your system.

  22. <P><B>To load documents faster:</B>

  25. <P><LI>From the Edit menu, choose Preferences. 
  26. <P><LI>Choose the Display panel, if necessary.
  27. <P><LI>Unselect the Load Images Automatically option.

  29. <P>Documents are loaded without images. To load a missing image, place the mouse
  30. pointer over the missing image, click the right mouse button, and choose Load
  31. Missing Image from the pop-up menu. To load all missing images, choose <A
  32. NAME="LOAD_MISSING_IMAGES">Load Missing Images</A> from the Navigate menu.

  57. <P>Images in documents that specify the size of inline images will be displayed as

  60. sizes, select the Reformat After Each Image option.

  69. <P><LI>In the Cache Size Limit field, specify the amount of disk space in
  70. kilobytes reserved for cached files. The default cache size is 2048 KB.

  73. determine how often network documents are checked for revisions:
